Sometimes when you are a new christen and you have family

or friends who are ill or suffering in a difficult situation,

It can be hard to believe that God will answer your prayers.

Keep calm, keep praying and keep believing because God will answer your prayers.

Turn to those in your church and ask them to pray with you.

You will find the strength and encouragement that you may need to

help you to continue to pray and be patient for Gods answer.

James 5v13-15

Are any among you suffering? They should keep on praying about it and those who

have reason to be

thankful should continually sing praise to the Lord.

Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the

church and have them pray over them,

anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord.

And anyone who has committed sins will be forgiven.

Always pray to God where ever you are,

He’s always there beside you.

GO FOR GOD!

May 18, 2010

Well lately I’ve just been thinking about God and everything that he has done for me these past months and the people he placed in my life at the exact time he knew I would need them. I’m so thankful that he has given me such confidence within him and my faith in him. I feel so blessed that I can just openly talk to my tech friends and other non Christian friends about God. That even after the fall he still wanted an intimate relationship with every single one of us. However when it comes to praying out loud in front of people I literary cant bare the thought, well i couldn’t before but now god has given me confidence in the one area of my life I never had it,  he also provided the push that i needed to do it and for that I’m so very thankful. anyway last night as i was getting ready for bed i started to think about my generation and the one above and below mine within this city. I truly believe that this whole city will be saved. every single person who are within the pits of despair will be brought out of it and WILL be standing worshipping god! I think its time for the younger generation of the church to stand up for god and take charge. We have a chance to impact our generation while we’re still young!! If we stand up and actually show the rest of our generation that the answer isn’t drink and drugs and the way of solving things isn’t killing yourself or pretending like everything is great when your actually dying inside, that they don’t need to feel so helpless and lost that they don’t understand why things happen to them, why they aren’t loved. We need to explain to them that there is nothing other than the love of god that will fill that empty void within their lives! We have a chance to show them how to live in full health and happiness so I guess what I’m trying to say is even though people might think I’m absolutely nuts I’m going to take a dive for CHRIST! I’m challenging you, dare to speak the truth!

Go for god!

So recently big things have happened in my life, with God and my relationship with him. I’ve definitely moved to the next level but it has taken a while and it wasn’t easy because I was so afraid of God asking me todo something I didn’t want todo or make myself look silly or If get embarrassed. I have realised that If its to make God famous and to give him glory, why does it matter what it is and looking silly and getting embarrassed for God is way better than getting embarrassed over something meaningless. Just listen to God and give him the glory for everything we do!

When you are sitting alone in your bedroom, at your computer or whenever you are
and you think to yourself why is life like a bonfire? Why are bad things happning to my friends?
Why do people have so maney heated arguments, fighting against eachother, constanty
bickering and souting?
Why do they do this kind of stuff.
It can raise the question “Is my life going to become like that?”‘

John 14 v 1
Let not your heart be trobled, you beleve in God,
Beleve also in me.

Pray to God, he will hlp u through the fear that can overwhelm you.
God can give you the peacein your heart and mind.
Don’t be scared of praying to God, He will answer your prayers.
Share wih your friends the peace that you have found and help them to pray to God about their situation.
They too can have that sence of peace that you now have.

Well im sitting here in tech listening to mighty to save. And it just fills my spirit with joy and love. My god is mighty to save, that’s so true. Lately I’ve been wondering about how I can use my testimony to help others, like properly help them, My secret dream is to be able to teach people about the lord, show people how he can change every aspect of there life’s if they allow him into there life’s like. I just don’t have the bottle to talk about my past because sometimes I feel so ashamed about everything that happened to me, but then I realise that even though it totally sucks from my point of view I could totally inspire other young adults with it and show them that even though something terrible has happened to them they can take it and use it for the better instead of dwelling in it like I done for so many years. I try to keep my past my dirty little secret because I’m scared of what people think, I don’t want people acting different round me because of it. In 1 John 5:4 it says for everyone born of god overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. When I started to think more and more about this I realised how important it is for god to be in your life so you can over come any obstacle that is placed within your life. Some day ill be able to over come everything in my life that is holding me back from filling the life the lord has laid out for me. Because all I want for my life is to show young people the glory of the lord and that there’s so much more to life than sex and drugs.

God bless. Frankee x

I was given some great advice lately and I felt I need it to share it! So we all go through hard times ad end up in situations we don’t want to be in and sometimes if you talk to someone about it, they always say just hand it over to God and it’ll be sorted but its easier said that done and there’s time were you hand something over and then you try handing it over again but for some reason you just keep taking it back. I was told to look at it this way, imagine your hands open in front of you with everything you have in them, the good, the bad and the ugly, and lift your hands up to God and keep your hands open because if you close your hands and try to do things yourself, its not going to work out, you might end up leaving yourself in a worse situation, just give God all the control and in the end he’s only going to leave the best!

So don’t be afraid to give all the control to God, it might be scary not having control over what going on in your life but at the end of the day we are Gods children and he’s only going to give us the best!

Don’t Get Sucked In

March 10, 2010

In Genesis 27, Isaac said to Esau, “Go hunt and bring me the game, cooked in the way I like it, and I will give you my blessing.”
Rebekah heard, and went to Jacob; “Go kill one of the goats from the flock, and I will cook it up, and you will take it and receive the blessing from your father.”
Jacob said, “But he’ll figure out I’m not Esau and curse me!”
Rebekah said, “Leave it to me,” and she sorted everything out.  She gave him the food and he went to Isaac.  “Who is this before me?” Isaac asked.  Jacob answered, “I am Esau, your firstborn”
And that’s how Jacob sinned.  Of course he’d sinned before, but this time he was had a chance to run away from sin, and instead he jumped in with both feet.
His mother was tempting him.  She made it so easy.  She did almost every step of the preparations for him.  When Jacob found a problem with her plan, thinking his dad would find out their plan, she said she would handle it.  He didn’t stand up to her and tell her to stop.  He didn’t say that he shouldn’t deceive his father, and that her plan was wrong.  And I get it.  He loved his mother, and he respected her and trusted her.  She probably was doing this for him, and for his best interests.
People around him were planning on doing wrong. He never stopped them.  Soon he became involved.  When he lied about who he was, he had officially and knowingly jumped into a ton of sin.
Its easy to get involved in sin. Jacob probably really trusted and loved his mother too, but she led him into wrong things.  Our best friends can cause us to sin.  It’s not always easy to stand by either, often times we really do end up joining them, whether its drinking when you’re underage, or lying to cover for your friends, or whatever.  Don’t get caught up.  Love your friends and family, but if it’s sin, don’t join them.

Marked

March 4, 2010

EVERYONE! Jump for joy! Shout out, dance, say “whoop whoop”, and get excited. Why? Because you are marked with a seal of a promise greater than ANYTHING promised or guaranteed in this world. The word of God says so in Ephesians 1:13. When Jesus faced death and WON, he put down a deposit on your life that is priceless. You are Gods most prized possession, and because of it you are promised the Holy Spirit and an inheritance of all of Gods kingdom and grace. It is God who created the blacksmith that made the weapons that can come against you, so if Gods with you, then who can come against you? Those who will attack you will surrender, anyone who accuses you will be rebuked, though mountains can be shaken and moved the unfailing love for you will not be shaken (Isaiah 54:10). You were made for glory! YES!!! MADE FOR GLORY! YOU! ME! US! I think that is something to be excited about, don’t you think? God is good, so smile!

Don’t worry about a thing!

February 25, 2010

I’m sure most of you know the old Bob Marley song Three little Birds. It goes a little something like this, “Don’t worry, about a thing, cuz every little thing is gonna be alright!” Very simple yet powerful lyrics. I believe that every morning that we wake up and start our day, God would say this to us. To not worry about a thing. Sometimes things are out of control, but Gods got your back, and wants you to know that It will all be ok. He’s the creator!! He knows more than you do! Knows what’s best and all that stuff! So its like why even try to do it all by yourself, when you got the master of it all by your side. Peter 5:7 says “cast all your cares of father God because he cares for you”. I would say every morning wake up and say this verse. You can use it in any situation you get in. God cares, so give it to him. Trust me, he’s a BIG God, He can handle it.

Stick It Out!

February 19, 2010

Recently I’ve been looking to make a specific change in my life.  After talking to a few people, I’ve just discovered I can’t.  My idea can’t work.  Shoot! Lol
But that’s okay.  I know God will see me through situations I don’t like.
When Jesus was in the garden praying, knowing he was about feel the weight of everyone’s sins and be separated from God, he prays three separate times, “Not as I will, but as you will”.  When Jesus was teaching how to pray, He said we should say “your kingdom come, your will be done”.  I’ve got to accept it and yield to God’s plan.
Now I think Ruth probably didn’t like picking up the leftover bits of grain after Boaz’s servants like some beggar-woman.  I can’t imagine Paul really loving being in prison, though he seems to have been one of those people that would say it was an amazing chance to serve God: I’m sure he would have liked to go outside and walk around sometimes.  David probably didn’t like Saul chasing him around the desert for years either, trying to kill him.  But it had to be done, so they got on with it.
God says through Isaiah, “My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways.”
If there’s some super cosmic life changing reason I can’t make the changes I want in my life, then awesome:  bring it on, and let God use me.  But even if there’s not, then I can stick it out if David can.
